Welcome.

Welcome to our website.  We hope it gives you a flavour of the aspirations we have for our children and the pride we have in our school community. We work in a principled way based on what evidence tells us gets children off to the best possible start.

We place a high value on relationships between children, staff and families. We aim to enable children to be the very best version of themselves so believe partnership with families is vital. Of course to achieve this we recruit high quality staff with broad specialist qualifications.

Our school is a larger than average infant school, located near the University of East Anglia and in the middle of the dynamic West Earlham community, situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of the historic city of Norwich. We have a purpose built nursery which has the capacity for over 100 of our youngest learners. We have educational provision for 2 year olds – 7 year olds

We place very strong emphasis on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment which is welcoming to all and that encourages children to enjoy their learning. However the governors and staff are aspirational for the children so that they acquire the vital skills and attitudes that enable them to thrive and flourish at school and in the future. We are delighted our approach has been validated by OFSTED as Outstanding in all areas.

We pride ourselves on being a genuinely welcoming school, so if you want to find out more, don't just take our word for it. Please do come and visit us.

Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who came along to Conkers Story Cafe to help the children make Humpty Dumpty. We were very proud of how well the children sang and signed their favourite nursery rhymes and the children were very excited to take home their special nursery rhyme bag with all the different characters they had already made in nursery. At home you might like to add to the characters they made, maybe a mouse for Hickory, Dickory Dock?... or any other favourite songs...we'd love to see what you can make together at home. ... Our Sports Day is on Thursday 4th July this week.
Parents and families are welcome to come along and cheer your child/children on. We will leave school at 9:10am and aim to get to the UEA around 9:45am.
Please make sure your child comes into school wearing their P.E kit with trainers. All children must have sun cream applied and a sun hat. We will provide water bottles and children will be regularly reminded to reapply sun cream and drink water.
When we return to school, families are invited to enjoy a picnic with your child/children. Once you have enjoyed your picnic you are welcome to go home.
